There will be a delay in posting this week, perhaps tomorrow. The internet has been on the fritz all day. Hopefully it will stay on long enough to get this posted! Have a happy!
I have tried to post for two weeks, yet nothing will publish. It just fails... Thanks, Internet!
I am so enjoying reading how you are foraging! I used to help my Grandma go for 'cressy greens' on the creek banks... My Great-Grand would take me out to gather sweetgum balls to use for winter décor and broom sage for weaving brooms. We'd make four or five for her to use all year. One small one was made for me to use... I wish I had learned more of their thrifty ways!
I don't know if it's just me or the internet, Matty. Technology and I are like oil and water. We just don't mix.
Sounds like a wonderful experience with your Great-Grand. One of my greatest regrets is that I never paid attention to our old family friend, Jack. He grew up among the Native Americans during the turn of the last century, and learned many of their herbal remedies. The knowledge that is lost. At the time is was "too cool" to go out tramping in the woods with an old man. Stupid! I'd give my eye-teeth to have the chance now!
