P.S........

First, I must tell Shirley Elliot that I accidentally deleted her comment.  Sorry!  I didn't want you to feel hurt when your comment didn't show up.  Thank you very much for the kind words!

The second thing is that I completely forgot to write about our "new" room we decorated with reclaimed wood from our Christmas foray.  SO I guess I will definitely need to write one more post!

Hope everyone is having a peaceful Memorial Day.  Our little village held the nicest service for the veterans.  It is so lovely to live in a place where people still respect and are thankful to our veterans for their service.  We even had prayers.  Imagine that in this politically correct times!

    Looking forward to seeing your new room...pictures too, please.
    We went camping with my brother and his family. I enjoy camping but the preparation and packing/unpacking our popup tire me out. :D
    Sounds like a nice Memorial day service. My hometown also does a parade and service and hundreds of white crosses and flags on the courthouse lawn for those who served but are now deceased. Proud of my little hometown.

      That's why I like camping in my own backyard. If I forget something, it's just a short walk to the house. PLus if it gets cold or boring, home is only a few hundred feet away!

      Small towns are the best!

      Thanks Janet! I think you and I have very similar weather. Very odd Spring wasn't it? I don't think the vegetable garden knows what to do with itself. The veggies that could be planted in cold weather were really slow to germinate. Then all of a sudden, BOOM!, we get summer weather.
